Am I Superwoman all of a sudden?

It’s amazing how songs can give us an instant lift…songs that boost our spirits and give us that  “Am I Superwoman all of a sudden?” feeling.

I’m always surprised by the “kick” I get from listening to songs which strike a chord with whatever situation I happen to be in. Music holds so much power. Of all the awesome songs that magically rev up my engines, it is almost impossible for me to pick my Top 3.  But here are my no fail pick me upper(s).

ENJOY Listening 🙂

Sail on the wings of a cloud
Where to, well nobody knows
And cry, cry if you want them to see
Die every day to be free
Be proud to wear the colors that you call your own
Be loud, speak out when you want the world to know
Be strong, hold the flame for everyone to see
Be real, if you want to love.

Just For Today by India Arie: this song keeps me “human”….always  makes me want to go out, be myself and enjoy the day!

Just for today
I will not worry what tomorrow will bring
I’m gonna try something new and walk through this day
Like I’ve got nothing to prove, yeah

Cool Change originally sung by Little River Band: reminds me that it’s okay to embrace change, if it means a better and stronger “me”

If there’s one thing in my life that’s missing
It’s the time I spend alone
Sailing on the cool and bright clear waters

Now that my life is so pre-arranged
I know that it’s time for a cool change

Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield: helps me collect myself before spreading myself across the dreams I need to accomplish

Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten

Stay HAPPY 🙂
