    Incredible INDIA

Traveling to India is WOW…..a beautiful, multi-faceted and fascinating country. We were infatuated with the well-preserved culture, their clothes, gestures, majestic mountains, spectacular temples, marvels of the Himalayan peaks and many other things that are completely new to us.
We made a lot of wonderful friends and the experience was uh-mazing. They say there are two kinds of travelers: the ones who have been to India and the ones who haven’t. India is LOVE.

I invite you to watch our India travel video above as motions, pictures and not words can best describe our one of a kind India travel experience. Have fun!

HIMALAYAS – where earth meets sky

So beautiful for a moment I thought I had died.

    And we made it! witwiw

Meet the breathtaking, majestic snow-capped Himalayan mountains in Rohtang Pass. Separating the Indian subcontinent from the Tibetan Plateau, Rohtang Pass is only open to visitors from May to November (lucky us!) every year. For some months it remains out of bounds for tourists due to its dangerous snowstorms and blizzards. This is the first time Im actually using the word “blizzards”. Twice now!

Situated 51 Km away from Manali in Himachal Pradesh State of India, Rohtang Pass is wrapped in snow all year round and it is popularly described as The Switzerland of India.

The total number of hours (land travel) our ambitious selves took to reach Himalayas Rohtang Pass peak was tadaaaan…24 hours!
we’re not exactly highly energetic at that…hehe..The drive leading up to Rohtang pass is a difficult experience and may cause heart palpitations so its a must to hire a very experienced local driver.

whoever said traveling is boring must try to change their zip codes now

Bruce Lee left me a valuable guiding principle

“Always be yourself, express yourself, have faith in yourself, do not go out and look for a successful personality and duplicate it.”

    Visiting Malacca Melaka

    Why are you so orange?

Malacca (Melaka) is very rich in history, a reason for it to be listed in UNESCO World Heritage City.

Here are some of Malacca’s top tourist attractions (within walking distance from each other)

    1. The Sultanate Palace : a replica of the structure built by the extinct sultanate of Malacca, the rulers of the city before the arrival of the Portuguese in the 1500s

BED of SULTAN ( with mini stairs!)

    2. The Dutch Square: a.k.a. “the Red Square”…the very first spot that caught my eye. Some say the Dutch painted this town to reflect their houses in Holland and some say the colors distinguished the Dutch buildings from the British buildings…I say “ok History, you always confuse me”

    Visiting Jakarta, Indonesia

If you can drive well in Jakarta, you can drive anywhere else in the world. There is no Jakarta without acute traffic jam at all. Imagine people getting stuck in traffic right in front of their houses for almost an hour. Wow.
But my experience was fun! strolling around the beautiful city brought out the “walkathoner” in me.

Truly, Jakarta is one of the busiest cities in the world.

Here are some of the pix: SUNBURNED

    1. MONAS – Jakarta’s prominent landmark located in the heart of Jakarta. It’s a symbol of Indonesian independence movement.

    2. Sunda Kelapa Harbor – unique harbour with its majestic wood sail boats
