A letter from my sponsored child in Africa

Today I felt the sweetest embrace. I am so happy to receive a drawing from my sponsored child with his handwriting on it. Priceless!

My participation in Save The Children taught me a lot of things and the importance of “keeping in touch”.
Writing a letter is such a little thing (to most of us), but it really means so much to sponsored children.
They feel loved. This feeling of love grows each time a letter arrives in the mail for them. Financial assistance alone cannot create a loving relationship.

There are 4 things I always tell my child, whenever we exchange letters:

1. To believe in his dreams.
2. To always remember that God has a unique plan for him.
3. I love him and I am a part of his life.
4. To always be happy.

I’m going to definitely make it a point to write regularly to my angel in South Africa.

If you sponsor a child please take time out of your busy schedule to send an expression of love by keeping in touch.

Happy Happy Vibes 🙂
